I was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised on Long Island. Growing up there, I developed a strong sense of community and passion for people and public service. I moved from Long Island, NY, to Alexandria, MN, in 2005 with my children and have been a resident of Alexandria for over 19 years. I attended Alexandria Technical and Community College and obtained an associate’s degree in business web development. My professional journey has taken me through various roles, including management, business owner, customer service and commercial driving. I currently work in the transportation industry and have for several years.

I am married to my beautiful wife of 10 years. We have been members of our local church serving in the youth and worship ministry for over 10 years and our children attended Alexandria area schools.

I grew up in a diverse area and witnessed many cultures and unique challenges our community faces. My diverse upbringing has taught me the value of empathy, understanding and effective communication. Communication is key to a local government position. Serving and communicating are skills that I utilize every day. Through my service at church and work I've learned that listening to people is one of the greatest tools of communication. Helping serve others is a beautiful thing. As a representative of my Ward, I become the voice of our city. In living in Alexandria for many years and interacting with our community, I have learned that things like community and culture are very important.
